Job summary

Lake Granbury Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process in a busy acute care setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes and compassionate service for patients and families.

The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience, an ADN or higher, and an active RN license in Texas or a compact state. BLS is required, ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• Associate degree or higher in nursing required
• Current RN license in Texas or a compact state required
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Maintains infection control and safety standards across care environments
