Job summary

Lake Granbury Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process in a 73-bed community hospital serving Hood, Somervell, and Erath Counties. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes and a compassionate care environment.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, active RN licensure in the state or compact, and BCLS; ACLS and PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• RN licensure required; BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes to care team.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the care team.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in code team activities.
