Responsibilities

• Performs and documents patient assessment, including breath sounds and airway patency.
• Administers respiratory therapies such as oxygen delivery and chest physiotherapy.
• Assists with artificial airways and initiates ventilator support as needed.
• Monitors patient response and communicates progress with the care team.
• Documents care in the patient EHR and coordinates patient transport as required.
• Responds to emergencies to maintain airway integrity and adequate ventilation.
