Job summary

The role requires an Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC-RRT, BLS, and ACLS certification, plus 0–2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
• Current NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, with the ability to establish effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, and manage ventilators, including weaning and graphic interpretation.
• Perform arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Assess patients and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop care plans.
• Educate patients, mentor new employees, students, and peers.
• Support a safe environment by promoting accurate documentation, medication safety, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist in invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics as needed.
