AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist for night shifts in Lafayette, LA. The role involves direct patient care in a long‑term acute care setting, operating ventilation and respiratory support devices, and coordinating with physicians and the care team.

Candidates should have completed an approved respiratory care program, hold a Louisiana Respiratory Therapist license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications, with 1–3 years of related experience.

Formación

• Completion of an approved respiratory care program.
• Active Louisiana Respiratory Therapist License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Minimum of one to three years of related work experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory care to patients in the long‑term acute care setting.
• Operate and monitor ventilation, vapotherm, high‑flow, Bipap, CPAP, and related devices.
• Assess and respond quickly to changes in patient condition and communicate findings to physicians and care team.
• Perform general nursing duties in collaboration with the team as needed under supervision.
