Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Texas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and deliver evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS, Texas RCS license, NBRC registration, and 6 months of experience. NICU experience is preferred; NRP and PALS must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.
