Job summary

The Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX seeks a PRN Respiratory Therapist to join a fast-paced, highly technical team. You will perform evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and protocols.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, BLS and ACLS, Texas license as an RCP, NBRC registration, and at least 6 months of experience; NRP and pediatric life support must be obtained within a year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NRP and Pediatric Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.
• Neonatal ICU (NICU) experience preferred.
