Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and deliver evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders.

The role requires Texas licensure with ongoing certifications (BLS, ACLS) and within one year obtain NRP and PALS; a 12-hour shift per week with seven days on, rotating weekends will apply. NICU experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience preferred.
