Job summary

Lake Health District in Oregon seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for PRN shifts. You'll care for patients newborn to geriatric with cardiorespiratory issues, operate ventilators, pulmonary function equipment, and blood gas analyzers under physician orders.

You'll collaborate with physicians and nurses, participate in 12-hour rotating shifts, and maintain certification requirements including BLS and ACLS/NRP within one month. This role shares on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of a 2-year respiratory therapy program.
• NBRC registration required.
• BLS certification; ACLS and NRP within 1 month of hire.
• Licensed to practice Respiratory Therapy in the state of Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients of all ages with cardiorespiratory problems using diagnostic and treatment modalities.
• Operate respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery devices.
• Perform blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing.
• Conduct resuscitative measures with monitors and defibrillators.
• Act as a resource for physicians and nurses.
