Job summary

SuperCare Health in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN/Part-Time to support patients with respiratory care at home and in clinical settings. You will assess patient needs, instruct on equipment use, and coordinate care with physicians and families.

Responsibilities include documenting plans, selecting appropriate therapy, training patients and caregivers, and providing on-call coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited RT program and licensed as an RCP.
• Experience as Respiratory Therapist PRN.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receives and documents orders for respiratory equipment and services.
• Assesses patient needs and selects appropriate respiratory therapy.
• Instructs patients and families on equipment use and care.
• Documents plans of care and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Provides 24/7 on-call respiratory services as scheduled.
