Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Receives and documents orders for respiratory equipment and services.
• Assesses patient needs and selects appropriate respiratory therapy or services.
• Educates patients and caregivers on proper use and care of equipment.
• Communicates with physicians about changes in patient condition and plan of care.
• Completes patient accounts paperwork including plans of care and assessments.
