Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
• Nationally Registered Respiratory Therapist (NRRT).
• Licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts with current BLS.
• ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to plan patient care for cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Diagnose and administer respiratory therapy modalities and medications.
• Interview patients, perform chest exams and analyze specimens.
• Manage ventilators and artificial airways; respond to Code Blue calls.
• Support labor and delivery and participate in C-sections as needed.
