Job summary

Freeman Health System in Kansas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a PRN schedule to assess and treat patients with Cardiac or Pulmonary disorders, manage ventilator systems, and collaborate with the care team.

Ideal candidates are NBRC-registered RRTs with Missouri licensure, and possess ACLS/BLS; NRP/PALS and ECMO exposure are a plus. Freeman Health System offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC.
• Licensed as an RCP in Missouri.
• NRP preferred.
• PALS Provider preferred.
• ECMO experience S.T.A.B.L.E. Learner.
• ACLS within 180 days.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of patients with Cardiac or Pulmonary disorders.
• Obtains, analyzes and correlates patient clinical data and makes recommendations and/or implements care plan.
• Manages complex patient/ventilator systems within protocol guidelines.
• Anticipates crises and complications and performs or recommends appropriate interventions.
• Works independently within departmental guidelines.
