Job summary

Ardent Health Services invites a Respiratory Therapist to join our Carthage, TX team as a PRN clinician. You will support patients with acute and chronic respiratory issues under the guidance of the Respiratory Care Supervisor, contributing to general therapy, critical care, education, and pulmonary services leadership.

Required are a COARC-accredited education, Texas licensure, NBRC certification, and BLS; ACLS and NRP within specified timelines are also expected to ensure high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Graduate from a COARC-accredited respiratory care program.
• Texas Medical Board license required.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) credential required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision for acute and chronic respiratory problems.
• Contribute to general therapy, critical care, education, and pulmonary services leadership.

COARC-accredited respiratory care program

Texas Medical Board license

Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)

BLS certification within 14 days
