Select Medical in Davenport, IA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for per diem/PRN shifts. The role offers a $38/hour rate with shift differentials for nights and weekends, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, manage endotracheal tubes, and contribute to quality improvement. Minimum requirements include NBRC CRT or RRT, BLS, active state licensure, ACLS on hire, and graduation transcripts.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• College transcript/diploma or high school transcript/GED required.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire for agency RTs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care for critically ill and complex cases.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
