Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, Texas seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join the team in a PRN role. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in line with physician orders and established protocols.

The position requires completion of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS, NBRC registration, and Texas licensure, with NRP/PALS to be obtained within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
