Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a PRN role. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and established protocols.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Respiratory Care Program, BLS and ACLS, NBRC registration, and Texas licensure in good standing. A minimum of 6 months of respiratory care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NRP and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.
