Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a PRN capacity. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders and protocols.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited Respiratory Care Program, holds BLS and ACLS, and is licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Texas, with NBRC registration and at least six months of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
