Job summary

St Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL, part of Hospital Sisters Health System, seeks a Respiratory Therapist to operate and maintain respiratory equipment and to provide patient care. The role requires documenting care in the EMR and complying with HIPAA standards and policies.

Required NBRC-registered RT (RRT) or eligibility; BLS is mandatory with ACLS preferred. This is a PRN/part-time role within the Respiratory department at St Mary’s Hospital.

Qualifications

• Diploma or an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy is preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC is required.

Pay Range:$31.03 - $46.54A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Conducts basic physician prescribed treatments and demonstrates competence in respiratory equipment related to respiratory care-based practice.
