Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care including ventilator management and medication administration in critical care settings. You will educate patients, collaborate with the care team, and mentor new staff and students.

The role requires NBRC credentials and clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care, plus strong communication and independent problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and plan care in coordination with the healthcare team
• Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and analyze arterial blood gases
• Educate patients and support staff, including precepting new employees and students
• Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance with policies
• Promote performance improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices
