Job summary

Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner PRN CRT to provide expert pulmonary care and respond to emergencies. The role requires Texas licensure, BLS and ACLS within 90 days, and a collaborative approach with the care team.

You will operate ventilators, administer therapies, and monitor patient responses while ensuring safety and high-quality care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• One year prior Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required within specified time frame.

Responsibilities

• Operates and sets up ventilators and related respiratory devices.
• Administers therapies per physician orders and evaluates response.
• Collects arterial blood gases and analyzes results.
• Monitors patient response via vitals and ABG values.
• Collaborates with physicians and nurses to adjust care plan.
• Adheres to safety policies and proper equipment use.
