Job summary

Acenda Integrated Health is seeking a PRN Residential Assistant to support mothers and children in a recovery-focused program. You will provide 24/7 coverage, assist with connection to community resources, and help manage crises in a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Responsibilities include relapse prevention, documentation in the EHR, and collaboration with the care team. A valid driver's license and a willingness to work varied shifts are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of recovery-oriented experience.
• Knowledge of the 12 steps for AA.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Professionalism and commitment to excellence in care.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with mothers and children and connect to community resources.
• Provide support in recognizing cravings, urges, triggers, and relapse prevention strategies.
• Follow up with mothers up to six months post discharge.
• Document all care activities in the EHR (UDS, meds, sessions, etc.).
• Prevent and assist with crisis situations and reduce relapse risk.
• Coordinate with the integrated care team and provide daily shift reports.

RA receives bi-weekly supervision and provides 24 hours, 7 days a week support and monitoring of mothers and children.Program InfoA Place to Call Home is a Recovery-Focused Independent Transitional Living that was created to facilitate safe, supportive and sober housing for expectant and postpartum women who have struggled with opioids as well as other substances and are in early recovery. The recovery-focused program provides parenting support, vocational counseling, case management services, peer recovery support, medication education and support, along with life skills while linking residents with mental health and substance abuse counseling.
