Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center in Midlothian, TX is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist to join a fast-paced, collaborative team. You will provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing under physician orders and established protocols.

Schedule features 12-hour shifts with a Monday–Friday rotation and weekends as needed. Requires Texas licensure, NBRC registration, and current BLS/ACLS with NRP/ALS within 1 year of hire; prior RT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• NRP/Paediatric Advanced Life Support requires within 1 year of hire.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in Texas in good standing.
• National Board for Respiratory Care registration.
• Minimum 6 months respiratory care experience.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast‑paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols. Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
