Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is a 294-bed, full-service acute-care hospital serving North Texas and certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke and Heart Attack Center. This PRN Respiratory Therapist role partners with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Respiratory Care Program with BLS/ACLS, Texas license, and NBRC registration, and have at least 6 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Currently licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

Your Job: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements:
