Cleveland Clinic Executive Health in Las Vegas is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our PRN team. You will perform general radiology and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation and patient comfort.

In this role you will operate stationary units, mobile machines, C-arms, and fluoroscopy systems, manage PACS workflows, and support safety throughout exams. This PRN position offers flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist by ARRT in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions and notify management.
• Assist with scheduling procedures and process billing.

Job description

A PRN (as needed) caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. a new position for a new office of Executive Health opening in November. Located at 6111 South Buffalo Drive Las Vegas NV 89113 At Cleveland Clinic Executive Health, our caregivers are dedicated to helping patients cope with and manage the effects of memory loss. As a Radiologist Technologist, you will use your knowledge and learned skills to operate various types of x-ray equipment, including stationary unity, mobile machines, C-arms and fluoroscopy systems, to provide physicians with images to help diagnose conditions. On this team, your efforts can help facilitate a welcoming, calming and healing environment to relieve any discomfort or unease patients may feel throughout the exam process. While growing alongside your team, you can also explore opportunities offered through Cleveland Clinic, such as Imaging school or advanced MRI, Cat Scan or Ultrasound Programs.

This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position will work as needed between 7:00am and 5:00pm.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $34.00

Maximum hourly: $34.00
