Job summary

TRITAL Care is seeking qualified Registered Nurses for PRN assignments at hospitals and healthcare facilities in Glen Mills, PA, and surrounding areas. Positions cover Neuro Stepdown, Med-Surg, OR, PACU (Pediatric), PCU, PICU, Pre-Op, Telemetry, OR General, OR Circulator, ICU, ED/ER, and BHS specialties.

Ideal candidates hold an active PA RN license, BLS, and relevant specialty experience, with reliability and willingness to complete onboarding and credential verification.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license.
• Nursing education meeting licensure requirements.
• Relevant clinical experience in the assigned specialty.
• Current BLS certification as required by the facility.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of medication safety and infection prevention.
• Able to meet essential functions with reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to Glen Mills and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitoring vital signs, symptoms, laboratory findings, and changes in clinical condition.
• Administering medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policies.
• Recognizing clinical deterioration and escalating concerns promptly.
• Performing nursing procedures within the RN scope of practice and demonstrated competency.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and electronic health documentation.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educating patients and families regarding treatment, recovery, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Following infection prevention, medication safety, patient identification, and confidentiality standards.
• Participating in shift handoffs, care coordination, and transitions of care.
• Responding to emergencies and following rapid response and escalation procedures.
• Maintaining a safe, respectful, patient-centered care environment.
