Job summary

TRITAL Care is seeking skilled Registered Nurses for PRN assignments across Neuro, Med-Surg, OR, PICU, ICU, ED/ER, BHS and more in Selma, AL and surrounding areas.

RNs will provide patient-centered care, monitor vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with care teams while adapting to facility needs. PRN shifts offer flexibility, including weekends and holidays, with a focus on safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for Alabama or eligible to practice in Alabama.
• Current BLS certification as required by facilities.
• Relevant clinical experience in assigned specialty and demonstrated competency.
• Ability to meet essential functions and pass credential verification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Monitor vitals, symptoms, labs, and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and policies.
• Recognize deterioration and escalate as needed.
• Document accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, and discharge.
• Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Participate in handoffs, care coordination, and transitions of care.
• Respond to emergencies following rapid response protocols.
