Job summary

MUSC Health Kershaw Urgent Care at Elgin is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced outpatient team. You will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a collaborative setting alongside physicians and advanced practice providers.

This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a supportive team, and the resources of MUSC Health’s academic health system. Minimum education includes an accredited nursing program with RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the state board.
• BLS certification prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate nursing care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment while protecting patient privacy.
• Participate in governance, standards of care, and ongoing professional development.
