Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU on a PRN basis, working night shifts. The role requires graduation from an accredited RN program and current Florida or Compact license. A minimum of two years in acute care with ability to work in Med/Surg/Tele and ICU or PCU is expected.

ACLS, NRP, PALS, CPI certifications may be required within 90 days, depending on unit. The job emphasizes professional leadership, patient-centered care, and adherence to service

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Minimum of 2 years in an acute care setting with Med/Surg/Tele and ICU or PCU experience.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• At start date or intrafacility transfer: ACLS (all units except nursery) for new grads within 90 days; NRP for Womens Center; NIH within 90 days for ICU/PCU; PALS and CPI within 90 days for ER; PALS for PACU within 90 days.
