Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Florence division Mobile Float Pool. The role emphasizes nursing care, leadership within the team, and multidisciplinary collaboration to provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care.

Minimum requirements include an Associate's Degree and a minimum of one year RN experience. SC license or compact state license and current BLS certification are required. This position is on-site with flexible PRN hours.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required and at least 1 year RN experience
• Licensed as RN in SC or compact state
• Current ACLS/BLS certification preferred (AHA/Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment with patient privacy and professional conduct
• Participate in professional practice model, shared governance, and continuous professional development
• Coordinate care delivery using care management principles to improve patient outcomes
