Job summary

The role requires active RN licensure, ACLS/BLS, and strong communication. Travel or scheduling flexibility may be required to support ASC operations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing and RN licensure in the state or a compact state.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong customer service.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Flexible schedule and ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Working knowledge of equipment and procedures.
• Influenza vaccination annually.
• Two-step PPD or annual PPD.
• Complete regulatory competencies before starting in ASC.
• High ethical and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous delivery of high-quality nursing care.
• Adopt innovative nursing practices to improve the facility.
• Mentor/train surgical staff as needed.
• Maintain documentation of patient care and audits.
• Provide clinical support for procedures and patient care plans.
• Coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Ensure infection control surveillance and safety procedures.
• Prepare rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
