Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide care for client employees at our Health Center in Pittston, PA. This PRN role supports two locations, Pittston and Minersville, with a flexible Monday–Friday schedule based on site coverage.

The RN will assess care needs, perform nursing evaluations, and collaborate with physicians for further care. This role requires a state RN license and relevant certifications, with potential for BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS degree; BSN preferred.
• Currently licensed RN in state of practice.
• BLS/ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support required; ACLS may be required.
• COHN/COHN-S or Emergency Nursing preferred.
• At least three years of RN experience in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs, perform nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean, safe environment, and follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain patient health records for accuracy and up-to-date information.
• Educate patients on health promotion and participate in follow-up care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
