Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Mayo Correctional Institution in Mayo, FL. The RN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Shifts are 12 hours with two weeks of full-time training required. Must have an Associate's degree, RN license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Occasional 12-hour shifts; two weeks of full-time training required.

We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our team at Mayo Correctional Institution.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

*12 hour shifts with two week fulltime training required*

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
