Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Mayo Correctional Institution. The RN (Medical) provides holistic nursing care within their scope of practice, under the direction of the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to address physical, psychological, and social needs of incarcerated patients.

The position involves 12-hour shifts with two weeks of full-time training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with correctional healthcare policies.
