Job summary

Cuidado Casero Home Health and Hospice in Southlake, TX is seeking an Experienced RN to join our patient–centered team. You will provide nursing care per the patient’s plan of care, perform evaluation, monitor conditions, promote health, coordinate services, and educate family members.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of related experience. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and office software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state(s) practicing.
• One year experience in related field preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines preferred.
• Working knowledge of home health and/or hospice care and the principles and techniques of professional nursing.
• Must practice a high level of confidentiality and be able to effectively respond to questions from employees, managers and outside entities.
• Must have knowledge and proficiency of office computer equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• RN's are responsible for nursing care in accordance with the client's plan of care, and includes comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluation, monitoring of the client's condition, health promotion and prevention, coordination of services, teaching and training activities, and provision of direct nursing care and other duties as deemed necessary.
