Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for Meadowbrook, PA. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, implement interventions to maintain nutritional status, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.

The role requires weekday availability with occasional weekend coverage, and experience in LTC, Short-Stay Rehab, and Acute/Hospital settings. Coverage includes Holy Redeemer Hospital on Meadowbrook campus and The Lafayette by Redeemer, offering

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) and a Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements.
Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
Actively participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
