Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment for routine and semi-complex radiographic exams. Join an amazing team dedicated to patient care and safety in a PRN role.

You will prepare patients, perform radiographic procedures, process images, and ensure timely transfer to the Radiologist. ARRT certification and BCLS within 30 days are required, with ongoing CE credits and adherence to safety standards.

Competenze

Graduate of AMA accredited program with certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology.
Adhere to ARRT guidelines of 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.
Must be ARRT Registered RT(R) or registry eligible (registered within one year).

Mansioni

Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays per procedures for patient care and safety.
Develop and process films and transmit to Radiologist for interpretation.
Administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS with correct markers and data.
Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean equipment.
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
