IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana seeks a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray, fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, position them for imaging, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality results.

The role requires BLS certification and ARRT Radiography licensure or board eligibility, with state ISDH credentialing. You will work onsite with flexibility for shifts and no required call or holidays.

Qualificações

• Operates X-ray, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery.
• Maintains radiation safety and document patient history.
• Stays current with continuing education and monitors patients during exams.

Responsabilidades

• Operates imaging equipment as part of surgical and diagnostic imaging.
• Explains exams to patients and positions them correctly for imaging.
• Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
• Follows radiation safety protocols and documents detailed patient history.
• Monitors patients during exams and assists with minimally invasive procedures when needed.
