Indiana University Health North Hospital in Carmel, Indiana seeks a PRN Diagnostic Radiology Technologist. You will operate x-ray, fluoroscopy, portable x-ray, and related imaging equipment, and prepare patients by explaining exams and positioning them correctly.

Collaborate with radiologists, follow radiation safety protocols, document patient history in the EMR, and assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

Formación

• 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and position patients as needed.
• ARRT RT(R) certification or board-eligible Radiologic Technologist; credential within 6 months if board-eligible.
• Current Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic Technologist or ISDH Radiology Student Permit.

Responsabilidades

• Operate imaging equipment (x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, fluoroscopy).
• Prepare patients by explaining exams and positioning them correctly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for accurate imaging.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and document patient history.
• Document information in the EMR and monitor patients during exams.
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures as needed.
