Job summary

Wellstar is seeking Radiology Technologists for a PRN, on-site role in Georgia. The position emphasizes delivering high-quality imaging services while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and clear communication within a collaborative care team.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT-R certification, with BLS live-sustaining skills. Experience is preferred but not required, and a comprehensive benefits program is available.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification and BLS required.
• Experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and competently, maintaining diagnostic quality.
• Follow ALARA principles to minimize patient radiation dose.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients to reduce anxiety.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers before exams; ensure patient privacy and safety.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and manage image transfers.
