Job summary

USPI Victoria Ambulatory Surgery Center seeks a motivated Radiology Technologist to join our fast-paced ASC. The Radiology Technician will perform multiple imaging procedures under physician direction and assist in the sterile field during spine, ortho or pain surgeries.

Qualified candidates are MRT licensed in Texas (AART registered, CPR current) with at least 1 year hospital experience (3+ years preferred) and strong communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• Texas MRT license current.
• AART registration and CPR current.
• 1 year hospital experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Familiar with Joint Commission regulations.
• Strong communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Radiology Technician will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room with Spine, Ortho or Pain procedures. Maintains a professional relationship with physicians and staff.

Required Skills:

• Must possess strong OR skills.
• Must have experience using both 9800 and Mini OEC C-Arms.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• AART Registered and CPR Current.
• Must have a current Texas state license (MRT)
• One-year hospital experience required (3+ years preferred).
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations
