Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Sonographer to join our team on a Temporary/PRN basis. You will operate scanners to produce diagnostic images, explain procedures to patients, and work with minimal supervision to support physicians in diagnosis and treatment. A flexible schedule is typical for PRN roles.

The ideal candidate is ARDMS registered, AMA/CAAHEP-accredited trained, CPR certified, and licensed where required. You will help maintain RIS records and uphold safety and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-accredited sonography program or CAAHEP.
• Registered ARDMS sonographer in good standing.
• Licensed Sonographer in the appropriate state (if applicable).
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform sonography procedures independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned scanner to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
• Explain procedures and position patients for imaging.
• Perform routine and advanced sonography with minimal supervision.
• Maintain patient records in RIS and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a clean, prepared work area and adhere to accreditation requirements.
