Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures under radiologist supervision. The role covers newborn to elderly patients and may include Bone Density exams.

Candidates should have ARRT registry status or be registry eligible and a high school diploma. The position requires independent judgment, adherence to radiation safety, and the ability to work with the Imaging team.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry or Registry eligible with 1 year to provide proof of registered status.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate or graduation eligible of accredited ARRT Program.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment according to equipment specifications and produces quality radiographs.
• Adheres to infection control and safety practices; maintains area neat and orderly.
• Meets productivity standards defined by the department; documents in RIS per procedure.
• Performs non-technical duties (stock rooms, transport patients, clean cassettes) and participates in staff training.
