Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required to practice radiologic technology.
• Current Utah radiologic technologist license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations with radiographic equipment.
• Maintain patient safety, identify patients, verify orders, and prepare exams.
• Review images for quality and accuracy per protocols.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Assist and instruct students and fellow technologists on protocols and equipment.
• Maintain patient records and exam documentation.
