Job summary

Independence Park Imaging, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographs, ensure safety, and support radiologists. The role requires ARRT licensure within 1 year, AMA-approved education, CPR certification, and prior technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Must complete ARRT licensure within 1 year of hire.
• Graduate of AMA approved radiographic program.
• CPR certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe.
• Comply with radiation safety guidelines and operate radiographic equipment safely.
• Perform necessary computer operations.
• Render patient care professionally and identify patients via proper protocol.
• Prepare examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Assist radiologist with medications, contrast agents and patient care.
• Review exams for technical accuracy and orientation on images.
• Willing to assist with additional duties and maintain confidentiality.

Skills

One year as staff technologist

Education

Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiographic Technology

American Registry of Radiologic Technology (required within 1 year)

American Society of Radiologic Technology (preferred)

Virginia Society of Radiologic Technology (preferred)

Current CPR certification (required)
