Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Orlando Central is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in Orlando, FL. This PRN/per diem role involves preparing patients, positioning for scans, and operating X-ray, fluoroscopy and CT equipment as needed.

The position requires ARRT certification and a current state license, plus BLS certification at start date. A supportive team environment and ongoing orientation are offered, with potential for advancement based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT or CMRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by start date.
• Currently licensed as a Radiologic Technologist as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain the process of the scans to the patient.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture quality images.
• Perform Radiographic/Fluoroscopy/CT exams as assigned in department or portable settings.
• Possess ability to inject IV contrast media when needed.
• Coordinate requisitions and scheduling; maintain supplies and par levels.
• Collaborate with floor staff to ensure safe, timely patient care.
