Job summary

Orlando Health in Orlando, FL seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities for interpretation and intervention, while upholding radiation safety standards.

Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, working with Siemens equipment for portables, OR C-Arm, and ED Diagnostics at ORMC, Orlando Regional Medical Center—Central Florida's only Level I Trauma Center.

Qualifications

Must hold valid licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Florida.
ARRT certification required for radiologic procedures.
BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy/physiology for interpretation.
Maintains radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
Ensures accurate patient identification and documentation of history and results.
Positions patient and equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation.
Assists in supervision of students and training of new technologists.
