The role offers flexibility with approximately 2-3 shifts per week, about 5 hours per shift, daytime hours, and independence in a smaller outpatient environment. ARRT (R) certified technologists with Georgia requirements are preferred, with 1+ year of experience and BLS/CPR favored.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
• Meet Georgia requirements for performing diagnostic radiography.
• At least 1 year of experience in radiologic technology.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations per physician orders.
• Properly position patients to obtain high-quality images.
• Verify patient identity and requested examinations before imaging.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and radiation safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation for each examination.
• Review images for quality before submission.
• Transmit studies through imaging/DICOM system for radiologist interpretation.
• Keep the imaging area clean and organized.
• Follow HIPAA and infection-control procedures.
• Communicate with staff regarding completed studies or issues.
