Job Description:
SCOPE : Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients, under the direction of a radiation oncologist and the director of the Houma center. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Accurate data recording with respect to positioning and setup parameters during CT‑Sim are essential for proper dosimetric calculations and high quality radiation therapy.

Graduate of an accredited program in radiation therapy technology or suitable equivalent.
ARRT eligible or current registry as RT(T)
Licensed by the Louisiana Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.
