Job summary

AMG Specialty Hospital – Clear Lake is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our long-term acute care team. As a PTA, you will administer therapy interventions under the plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician, helping patients regain function and independence in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment.

Requirements include Texas PTA license, BLS certification, English language proficiency, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Maintains a current Texas PTA License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Additional languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatment interventions guided by a plan of care established by a Physical Therapist and as ordered by a Physician.
• Participates with a Physical Therapist in developing treatment programs for therapy patients.
